Side effects? May include

Long Term Effects?

  • The rush to make “Plan B” available, studies to determine the risk of long term and repeated use were not carried out. The FDA has the responsibility of regulating these drugs. The chemicals used in “Plan B” are much like birth control pills. Health risks known due to taking birth control pills require a prescription from your Doctor. However the “Plan B” has a much higher dose of similar chemicals. Yet, the “Plan B” can be purchased over the counter.
